HR & Scheduling Coordinator in Richmond

Pro Vita is looking for HR & Scheduling Coordinator with a passion for the elderly to join our team to support our residents in Richmond.

Position: HR & Scheduling Coordinator 
Hourly rate: $28
Shift(s): Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Location: 23111 Garripie Avenue, Richmond British Columbia V6V 0C1  

HR & Scheduling Coordinator Must Haves:

• Completion of a high school diploma.
• A minimum of 2 years recent scheduling and HR experience (ideally in a long term care environment).
• Excellent computer skills, proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Word and Excel.  
• Minimum 50 wpm keyboarding skills.
• Passes and complies with Ministry of Justice Criminal record Check upon hire and every 5 years thereafter. 
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to Multitask
• Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations. 

HR & Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Support scheduling of all care staff in full time and part time lines
• Handing sick calls, vacation requests and coverage
• Entry of payroll to ensure that all hours are allocated and coded appropriately (as regular, sick, vacation etc)
• Completion of HR related documents (HR, WorkSafe and OH&S) to send to head office. 
• Participation in the Hiring Process by screening applicants and managing new hire paperwork.
• Acting as a receptionist whenever needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
